Brighteon.TV host Doug Billings denounced the Biden administration for allowing demonstrations in front of the homes of Supreme Court justices.
“The violent communist-socialist Left gathered at the homes of Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, and probably others. There’s a federal law that says you cannot gather at the homes of supreme court justices,” Billings said during the May 10 episode of “The Right Side” on Brighteon.TV.
“So [President Joe] Biden has instructed the Department of Justice, that department that is supposed to enforce and uphold law and order in this country, to not do anything to disperse those crowds. Do not enforce that law that says people cannot gather at the private residences of Supreme Court justices to protest. Do not do anything about it.”
Worse, Biden wants to undermine the Supreme Court itself.
Reuters reported that Biden, a Catholic, is considering executive orders and other measures to increase access and funding for women who want to have an abortion if the Supreme Court votes to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision. An unprecedented leak of an initial draft majority opinion from the Supreme Court showed that it is set to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision, which said the Constitution protects a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion.
Billings branded Biden’s leadership as a fake Catholic administration. “There is no Catholic leader out there that can be considered legitimate if they support abortion. The right to life is our most sacred right,” he said.
The host also criticized the protesters, saying that what they do best is gather in mass numbers and intimidate by means of violence. (Related: Democratic senator threatens a ‘revolution’ if Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.)
“To overturn Roe v. Wade, this means that they’re not outlawing abortion. Let’s make sure that we are clear about that. They are going to correct faulty legislation, where the federal government never had the right to interfere with the lives of others. The states will regulate that as per our Constitution,” the conservative host said.
Billings said it is written in the Constitution that the state’s rights are supreme over the federal government. Meaning, the states should be able to determine whether or not abortion will be legal within their state lines.
For that very reason, Governor Gavin Newsom was able to make abortion free in California. The Democrat signed into law a rule that will make taxpayers pay for every abortion done in the state.
The law now removes out-of-pocket fees for abortion procedures and increases insurance premiums for working-class people and their employers. It also prohibits insurance companies from charging co-pays, deductibles or any other type of cost-sharing for abortion services. This just means that the person who will get an abortion does not have to pay any amount because this will be part of the taxes imposed on the people of California.
Senate Bill 245, known as the Abortion Accessibility Act, was introduced early last year by Long Beach Senator Lena A. Gonzalez. The governor’s office said at the time that California was one of only six states that require health insurance providers to cover the cost of abortion procedures.
The bill “would prohibit a health care service plan or an individual or group policy or certificate of health insurance or student blanket disability insurance that is issued, amended, renewed or delivered on or after January 1, 2023, from imposing a deductible, coinsurance, copayment, or any other cost-sharing requirement on coverage for all abortion and abortion-related services, as specified.”
