The Empire State is officially now a “target” sanctuary state for abortion, thanks to the efforts of Attorney General Letitia James.
In a statement, James revealed that she, representing New York, has joined a national coalition of 22 other attorneys general in affirming their unified commitment to making unborn baby murder as easy and affordable as possible.
In New York, James said, women will be given not only free abortions but also free lodging and travel – whatever they need to get that baby exterminated as quickly as possible.
“We’ve established a fund in the state of New York to pay for individuals traveling to New York to seek abortions, for lodging, for daycare,” James is quoted as saying. “This is a state that respects the right of women to choose, that respects the right of individuals over their own bodies.”
The below video contains audio of James making this statement:
It turns out that abortion is a very important sacrament in the Cult of Leftism. Women all across this once-great country live to murder their unborn children – and without this “right,” they apparently have no idea what to do with themselves.
Their identities, as revealed in the coalition statement, are rooted in tearing an unborn child limb from limb and disposing of it like it was nothing. This is what gives these women the strength and “empowerment” they crave.
“For generations, Americans have relied on the existence of a constitutional right to abortion to make deeply personal decisions about their lives, their futures and their families,” the joint statement reads.
“The future and wellbeing of our nation is intrinsically tied to the ability of our residents to exercise their fundamental rights, including the right to liberty, privacy, and access to abortion care.”
In other words, without easy access to abortion, America’s women are done for, according to James and her cohort. In order to survive, we are told, these women must be able to murder baby after baby after baby as many times as they choose in order to receive the “reproductive health care” they demand.
The other states joining New York in taking this stance include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
“Everyone should say they’re going out of state to get an abortion and overwhelm their budget,” wrote someone in the comments to James’ statement, offering a really great suggestion about how to throw a wrench in the gears of this heinous plan.
“I know we’ll be passing the price in our taxes but we could cripple the program. And in New York, they wouldn’t dare say a man couldn’t be pregnant so men should go too.”
Another offered up similar advice, urging people to stock up on as many pills and whatever else they can get their hands on because “this is a free for all on New York’s dime.”
“The AG controls the budget in New York?” asked another, making a salient point. “What a strange state.”
Someone else pointed out that New York is already broke, and asked from where, exactly, all this newfound money is coming.
“If you object to baby killing in New York, your government will use your tax money to not only kill babies from your state but to import people from other states to kill their babies, too,” added another. “They are ripening in iniquity and headed for destruction.”
